The Certification Program is designed to teach participants the skills needed to teach TRE®.

This TRE® Provider Certification program is delivered by Nicki Forman under the supervision of Anya Bloom, TRE® Global Certification Trainer, who is qualified and recognized by TRE for All, Inc.

On successful completion of the Program, a participant will be Certified as a TRE® Certified Provider and will be qualified to teach TRE® to Individuals and Groups.

The Certification received by Provider Trainees on completion of the full training program is compliant to the standards of TRE for All, Inc.

If you have never done TRE® before, you are invited to join a (free) TRE session with Nicki Forman at Beit Aruna or on zoom before signing up to a Module 1 Workshop. (Available TRE® sessions schedule to be found on www.momoyoga.com/arunayoga)

The Certification Program has three Modules with associated requirements for each stage. Each Module is held over TWO days. The Introductory Workshop/Module 1 may be attended by anyone as a stand alone Workshop to learn TRE® for Personal Use or to deepen their TRE® experience.

MODULE 1
Personal TRE® process and foundational knowledge

Date: 3rd – 4th September, 2025 (2 days)

Topics covered:

  • Introduction to TRE®
  • Containment & Self-Regulation
  • Tremors & the Physiology of Trauma and Stress
  • Introduction to Polyvagal Theory
  • Survival Responses
  • TRE® Anatomy
  • Four TRE® practice session

Requirements after module 1:

  • Record 20 personal TRE® sessions in a journal (using the provided template)
  • Submit the TRE® journal for feedback
  • Attend TWO supervisions for personal TRE® practice 
  • Participate in at least two monthly group meetings (online or in-person)
  • Completion of these requirements is necessary to proceed to Module 2

The Introductory Workshop/Module 1 may be attended by anyone as a stand alone Workshop to learn TRE® for Personal Use or to deepen their TRE® experience.

MODULE 2
Teaching individuals and deepening personal process

Date: 12th-13th November, 2025 (2 days)

  • TRE® Facilitation Skills
  • Self – Interventions & Non-Touch Interventions in TRE®
  • Following the Body
  • Belief Systems & Trauma
  • Advanced Polyvagal Theory
  • Four TRE® practice sessions

Requirements after module 2:

  • Record 20 additional personal TRE® sessions (using interventions as appropriate).
  • Complete ONE supervision of the personal TRE® process.
  • Conduct TEN Individual TRE® teaching sessions
  • Trainee must complete a 6-session series Case Study (as part of above mentioned 10) 
  • The remaining four sessions must be with two additional individuals.
  • Video record all teaching sessions and submit written reports
  • Complete FOUR supervisions of TRE® teaching sessions
  • Attend at least two monthly group meetings (online or in person)
  • Conduct TWO TRE® peer sessions with fellow trainees
  • Receive feedback on teaching and personal practice during supervision 

Additional information module 2: 

  • The first TRE® teaching supervision will take place after your first individual client session.
  • The following sessions will be held at intervals determined by the Trainee and Trainer together.
  • Trainees may require more than the minimum number of supervisions. 
  • Attend a minimum of two of the monthly group meetings online or in-person.
  • Do a minimum of TWO TRE® peer sessions with a fellow Trainee. (A peer session is when a Trainee is facilitated by and facilitates another trainee in their personal TRE® Process).
  • Feedback on teaching and personal practice will be given in the supervision sessions and additionally may be given in writing or orally.

To attend Module 3 a Trainee must have taught TRE® a minimum of FIVE times and had a minimum of TWO supervisions of their teaching. The other requirements must be completed in full and all requirements completed before commencing teaching of groups

MODULE 3
Focuses on teaching groups. 

Date: 25th – 26th March, 2026 (2 days)

Topics covered:

  • Group facilitation in TRE®

  • Transference & Countertransference

  • Fascia & Myofascial Release 

  • Resilience, Grounding & the Salience Network

  • Tremors & the Physiology of Trauma and Stress

  • Leading a TRE® session for a group online 

 

Requirements after module 3:

  • Maintain their personal TRE® practice

  • Complete any remaining teaching & supervision requirements from Module 2 before beginning group facilitation

  • Discuss group teaching plans with the supervisor (this may be completed within a supervision session)

  • Teach one in-person group (4-8 participants in a 6-session series (Case Study)

  • Teach two online TRE®group sessions (more may be required) 

  • Video record all group teaching sessions and submit reports

  • Complete FOUR supervisions of group teaching sessions

  • Attend at least TWO monthly group meetings (online or in person)

  • Conduct TWO TRE® peer sessions

  • Read The Revolutionary Trauma Release Process by Dr. David Berceli and submit a written reflection

Additional information module 3: 

  • The first TRE® group teaching supervision will take place after your first group session.

  • The following sessions will be held at intervals determined by the Trainee and Trainer/ together.

  • Attend a minimum of two of the monthly group meetings online or in-person.

  • Do a minimum of TWO TRE® Peer Sessions with a fellow Trainee. (A Peer Session is when a Trainee is facilitated by and facilitates another trainee in their personal TRE® Process).

  • Continue expanding TRE® knowledge through provided resources (books, articles, podcasts, and videos)

  • Develop and present a presentation on a TRE® – related topic

Practical Details TRE® Provider Certification Program

Certification

Certification is awarded upon:

  • Completion of all requirements

  • Demonstrated competency in TRE® facilitation skills

  • Full payment of outstanding fees

Please note that while these are the minimum requirements to Certify as a TRE® Certified Provider, the Training is competence based and if minimum competence, as determined by the Trainers.

Course duration/delays

Certification should be completed:

  • Certification should be completed within 24 months 

  • If a trainee pauses training for over 8 months, they must repeat their last completed module

  • If certification takes longer than 24 months, the supervisor will determine which elements need to be repeated.

Additional Supervisions

If a trainee needs further development, additional supervisions may be required at an additional cost.This remains at the discretion of the supervisor to determine.

If training extends beyond 12 months, any revised program fees will apply.

TRE® is an evolving practice, and continued learning is encouraged

Certified Providers are invited to participate in Advanced Trainings and Specialized Workshops.

Peer sessions are encouraged beyond the minimum requirement, as they provide valuable hands-on learning opportunities.

A: The cancellation policy is as follows: More than 7 days before training, a refund is available minus a 10% administrative fee. 3 to 7 days before training, 50% of the training fee is non-refundable. Less than 48 hours before training, no refunds will be issued. After the training begins, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. In the event of a medical emergency, participation may be deferred to a future training within 12 months, but this does not entitle a refund.
