This innovative series of exercises, as developed by Dr David Berceli, safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating of the body within a safe and controlled environment. The tremors release muscular tension and stress and help let go of emotional blocks and trauma. The effect of the practice calms down the nervous system and restores the body to a state of balance.
You will be taught the fundamentals of TRE® for personal use to be integrated into your practice of yoga and self-enquiry. The focus of the training will be on self-enquiry and exploring the nature of your own internal experience using TRE® exercises within an Aruna Yoga context.
Training Objectives
Through experiential learning, participants will:
- Build resilience through self-regulation practices
- Learn to release stored tension and trauma from the body
- Understand the science behind nervous system regulation
- Integrate somatic tools into daily life for sustainable well-being

Training Structure
The Aruna® Immersion is delivered over three sessions, each lasting 2.5 hours, and combines both theoretical and practical components.
- Theoretical Foundations: Learn the core principles of Aruna® Yoga and TRE®, with a focus on trauma release, self-regulation, and nervous system health.
- Somatic & Movement Practice: Engage in accessible, trauma-informed Aruna® Yoga and TRE® exercises that honor individual physical needs and capacities.
Facilitator
Led by Nicki Forman, founder of the Aruna® Yoga method, this immersion draws on decades of experience in yoga, trauma recovery, and the integration of spiritual and psychological practices.
